The IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671) is the national standard to which all domestic and industrial wiring must conform. A new edition of the Wiring Regulations, the 17th edition, was published in January 2008. This latest edition came into force on the 1 July 2008 and contains substantial changes to align with European documents. The speaker will cover aspects of the new regulations and issues that have become apparent since publication. This talk will be of interest to all those concerned with the design, installation and maintenance of electric wiring in buildings.
